The Palos Colorados developer is still yet to receive final project approval from Moraga. Moraga must review the Conditions of Approval, the mitigation and monitoring measures, and the Environmental Impact Report Addendum before approving the General Development Plan and Vesting Tentative Map.
Last fall, the Moraga Planning Department announced that the Planning Commission will resume hearings to complete this process, and an introductory hearing was held on Oct. 20. However, the hearings have been stalled since then. The Planning Department staff does not expect a hearing until August at the earliest. Preserve Lamorinda Open Space will participate in these hearings whenever they occur, and will update this site as they progress.
